You can pay by check at Salem (make it out to Salem Baptist church with SLC "Student name" in the memo) or by visiting salemdobson.com/payslc. Unfortunately we had to reduce our budget and costs have increased, so we are asking the student to cover more than previous years. If it is an issue, scholarships are available.

We are planning to do a fundraiser to cover $120 for each student. If your student takes part in the fundraiser, they will receive credit for this towards the final cost of the camp. The church covers $80 so the final cost will be $229 per student. If your child does not participate in fundraising activities, they will not receive money toward the final cost! Scholarships can be made available to students through an application provided by Pastor Russ.

As always, no cell phones will be allowed on the trip. I believe that this week is an incredible opportunity for students to grow in their faith and with each other. Our phones can hold us back from that. Each year, students complain that they won't have their phone, but by the time we get a few days into camp, they are thrilled that they don't have it to distract them. I promise this is for your good! If a parent needs to reach a student, all adults will have their phones and their numbers will be provided with the welcome packet.

Documents and packing lists will be made available when Student Life gives them to me. We will leave from Salem Baptist church at 8 am on July 8 and return by 5 pm on the 12th.

We have reserved 40 spots. Once those initial spots are filled up, it is up to Student Life to allow us more spots, depending on availability and space at the camp site. So the earlier you sign-up, the better!
